A/W 16-17

GENERATION 20

The iNDiViDUALS A/W 16-17 collection is inspired by a girl gang of unapologetic, modern-day feminists, the subject of the brand's fascination this season. It is an ode to the versatility of the modern-day female, who can be both tough and vulnerable.

Oversized silhouettes balanced with cinched waistlines and ruffles show a playful take on stereotypical sartorial options that are usually available for women. Delicate knits and velvet pieces in pink are combined with tough military references such as enlarged pockets and D-rings. Emblematic for this collection is the statement all-over print, used in several items, in which frowned upon characteristics of women are stated. By letting women wear these words with pride, iNDiViDUALS further underlines the brand’s contemporary take on femininity this season.

The A/W 16-17 collection was presented in January 2016
